2024 Festival Entertainment
Our host for the Blueberry Festival will be the one and only Silly Joe! George, The Magician will be joining us and performing his amazing Bubble Magic Show at 11 am. You will be awed by the magnificent size of his bubble creations! Manatawney Creek Ramblers will be taking the stage at 1 pm performing a beautiful mix of bluegrass and indie folk music!
Special Festival Treats…
Festival Treats include a refreshing Blueberry Frozen Lemonade, a Blueberry Apple Cider Slushy, a savory Blueberry Goat Cheese Salad, and the indulgent Blueberry Smash Sundae, featuring Old Fashioned Blueberry Pie, homemade blueberry compote, creamy vanilla soft serve, and a delectable sugar cookie.

Our Barnyard family features white tailed deer, friendly goats, gentle horses, and whimsical sheep – each with their own unique lovable personalities. Our friends are out every day and they would love your company!
TRAIN RIDES, PONY RIDES & FACE PAINTING
All aboard! Ride the Playland Express — an Allan Herschell 1865 Steam Locomotive that travels around a 1-acre track! Timed tickets are required. Please note that you may still experience a brief line as we load and unload the train.
PLAYLAND PLAYGROUND
A fun, safe place for children to play — featuring a giant custom play structure with wooden trucks, boats, tractors and trains.
Linvilla Orchards Playland Playground is a safe and fun place for children to safely exert their energy while letting their imaginations run wild. Open all year ‘round (weather permitting) during regular business hours or until dusk, whichever comes earlier. Wooden structures in the form of trucks, boats, tractors and trains invite children to climb up and slide down.
Playland features a giant custom built play structure inspired by our Historical Octagonal Barn which is loaded with fun and challenging play apparatus for children up to age 12.
SPRING & SUMMER HAYRIDES
Spring Hayrides
Hop on a Spring Hayride to witness the orchard coming to life right before your eyes! We offer hayrides on the weekends in the Spring. Tickets are available online. While we strive to be open during our scheduled hours, this event is weather permitting. In the event that we cancel due to weather, you can swap your tickets to a different day.
STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL
Celebrate the peak of the local Strawberry season!
Linvilla Orchard’s Strawberry Festival takes place annually at the beginning of June during the peak of the local Strawberry Season. We will have live music, food, and fun all day long!
There is no general admissions ticket to visit the Linvilla. But you will need tickets for any family fun activity you would like to do. Click get tickets below to secure your tickets in advance.
FAMILY FISHING DERBY
Help your child catch their first fish, a memory that will last a lifetime.
Livilla Family Fun Fishing Derby provides younger and novice anglers an opportunity to experience the fun of our Fishing Derbies in a less competitive atmosphere.
Orchard Lake will be stocked with over 1,000 Rainbow, Brooks, Golden and Brown trout, which means that all participants will have a chance to catch that special fish. The lucky anglers who catch the first trout in their age groups* will receive a special trophy. Plus, there are tagged fish which can be caught to win additional trophies and other great prizes.
New for 2024 we will have Face Painting and a children’s craft table set up at the pond!
